Professor Brady’s English class was very interesting and informative this semester. The assigned stories and poems are not what I would have normally chosen to read, but I found them interesting. The class discussions and the in depth analysis of them helped me to understand them better.
I have grown as a writer immensely. As I had Professor Brady for English 101 and 102 I learned a lot about the mechanics of writing an essay, using examples and quotes from the story to make my points stronger is a very useful tool. Using the professor’s handout on transition phrases helped me to link my paragraphs and thoughts together.
I liked the way professor Brady posts all of our assignments on the blog so they are always accessible. I liked the readings and listening to the discussions because they help me to think about the stories. I did not participate a lot in the discussions, although I found the discussions very interesting.
